Feature: Crooked Clothing

'Crooked Clothing is the product of a Leeds based collective of artists and designers who believe that individuality is everything. They aim to relay this message of individuality through the diverse range of styles of their design team, and by ensuring each limited edition garment is never left out for too long.'

Crooked Clothing is more than just a brand, it is a platform for designers to get their work seen on the most influential canvas around today;  the clothes we wear. They're not about sticking to brand identity, following the latest trends or becoming victims of fashion. They keep it fresh and original, giving customers something different from the mainstream big brand logos, and aim to help out the little guys in the process.

Below are my favourite T-shirts from the first drop!

Review: 'This Works: Fresh Skin'

I've been wanting to try out some of the 'This Works' range for a while, but wasn't sure what product to go for. I recently found the 'Fresh Skin' toner in TK Maxx so couldn't miss the opportunity to buy it that little bit cheaper than retail.

The toner is in a spray form, but can be applied to a cotton pad for application if preferred. I've gone all in and opted for spraying it over my face, using a few spritzes each time both morning and night. I've seen benefits pretty quickly using the toner, my skin feels and looks much smoother and the redness on my cheeks and nose has lessened (result!).

The smell of the toner isn't offensive, and the toner doesn't sit on top of the skin - it soaks in quickly and leaves the skin feeling smooth with no stickiness. All in all I think it's a winner and it's definitely going to be a staple item in my skincare regime from now on.

Nike Air Max 1 FB 'Leopard' Pack

Nike have treated us AGAIN with the up and coming release of the Air Max  FB 'Leopard' pack. The pack includes two colour-ways (blue and orange) that both feature a suede upper with an all-over leopard print and a neon sole; two trends we've seen a lot of over the past few months.

 I'll definitely be aiming to get my hands on the orange pair. Keep your eyes peeled for a confirmed release date soon.

Deepest Dedication.

Disclosure's new song 'You and Me' ft. Eliza Doolitle is definitely going to be my summer anthem this year. I already can not stop listening to it! It's got quite a garage sound to it which is always a winner in the warmer months (or any month for that matter!). The lyrics are really nice, and the video also tells an interesting story.

Nike iD - Liberty Prints

Nike iD have treated trainer lovers yet again, making Liberty prints available for us to customise some of the most popular and most loved Nike models; Air Max 1s, Roshe Runs, Blazers and Dunks.

Liberty is known for it's iconic floral fabrics, and the brand has previously collaborated with nike on a number of extremely popular collections. Available for customisation on Nike iD are the 'Capel' and 'Pepper' prints in a variety of colours.

I've had a little play around, and here's the design I would go for;

Bside by Walé SS13 Lookbook

I recently had the pleasure of featuring in the Bside by Walé SS13 Lookbook, and here's how the shots came out!

The new collection is available online and in-store on the 9th of May. I personally can not wait, I need to get my hands on some of the items for the Summer - especially the look I'm wearing in the 4th photo,  sports luxe is going to be big over the coming months.
